Speedrite's commitment to Health and Safety is demonstrated by the appointment of a full-time Director of Health and Safety, Phillip Duckett CMIOSH. Phillip is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Cli/IIOSH). As well as his responsibilities to Health and Safety, Phillip is also responsible for the management of training and employee development plans.
In line with the requirement of Investors in People (recognised in July 2004), each member of staff has a personal development plan to ensure the continued development of Health and Safety through training. Our commitment to Health and Safety is such that we have attained recognition to industry standards, such as Britannia Safe Contractor CHAS (Contractor Health and Safety Scheme) and we are also a member of RoSPA.
