For projects falling under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM), Speedrite will undertake the role of Principal Contractor, assuming responsibility for the development of the construction phase health and safety plan and co-ordinating the activities of all contractors to ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation.
Speedrite can also carry out the role of Planning Coordinator, assuming responsibility for coordinating the health and safety aspects of the design and planning phase, pre-tender health and safety plan and health and safety file.
Speedrite has managed sites as Principal Contractor for clients such as Bae Systems Land Systems, Carlsberg Tetley, Continental Conveyor Ltd, InBev (Boddingtons Brewery, Manchester), Manor Bakeries and UPM Kymmene Plc (Shotton Paper mill).
